I'm finally done with the Kickstarter and all the self promotion, so now it's time to finally get back into one of my favorite things...highlighting some underrated artists on Newgrounds! It's been entirely too long since the last time I did one of these, and I feel like I have a good number of folks I want to get to beyond this, so I'll probably try to do another one in January.

In any case, let's revive this thing!

I'm not exactly sure how @oskidoodle has managed to slip through the cracks for this long, but they might be the very best Smiling Friends artist on this website.

@Rockischillin has a style that would feel right at home on Adult Swim. Their offbeat color sensibility and unique linework just oozes "alt" vibes.

@jackalocked is someone I found during a deep dive on spooky art during October. Their style seems to have shifted a bit over time, but I'm loving their newer, more painterly stuff. It's strange and spooky, but also plays with shapes and angles in a really compelling way.

@PT-Bonesy was also someone I discovered during that same deep dive. We always love to see people doing traditional art, and they're a wizard with those markers! There always seems to be really fun drips and folds and ripples in their work too :D

There seems to be a couple different stories running through @TheDemonDeity's work, so I'm keen to see if they'll do a comic or an animation at some point, but for now, I'm just impressed with their lighting and character designs.

And I think that's all for this issue! I promise I won't take nearly as long to put out another one of these! I've really missed doing them.

Thank you again to everyone who supported the Kickstarter campaign, or even just played the demo for School Night Séance because you've made a big part of my dream come true already. I really couldn't have done it without you folks. This community is wonderful, and I love you all!
