It definitely deserves the reputation it has, but it’s also genuinely excellent; fantastic script, heartbreaking characters, and a particularly great performance from the actress who plays Mademoiselle here.

[A surprise gift in the beach house]

I feel like it's really difficult to compare the two of these even if they're technically the same picture. The detail in the first is insane, but there's also something nice about the simple shading in the second; there's still a lot going on, but it doesn't feel as visually overwhelming. Very cool piece either way though!

Thanks, I wish that overwhelming wasn't a bad thing. I was trying to capture some messiness of living spaces. Sometimes it feels that it doesn't look messy enough when shaded simply but it looks nice. Sometimes is difficult to choose what style I want to go with haha!

For one of your first digital paintings, it turned out pretty well! Your color palette gives it a nice visual flow, and your moon is nice and spooky.

There's clearly a lot of thought put into the composition, and the cracks in the ground were a smart and subtle touch to compliment the overall emotion.
