I don’t like Nightbreed very much, but David Cronenberg really is delightful in there.

He’s the best part of the movie for sure. I’ve got a soft spot for Clive Barker, honestly, so I’m biased towards liking it in all its imperfection, but I’ve also heard reading Cabal (the book that became Nightbreed) fills in a lot that can make the film experience at least feel more cohesive.
