Aw, this is nice! You always make such great dreamy, atmospheric tracks Ketyri, and Scott’s visuals are nice and cozy too. Fun stuff, the both of you. (Bonus points for the Dreamcast cameo too)

This was a lot of fun. Abstract animation is all about finding inventive ways to express yourself, and you've got a lot of playful ideas going on in here, set to music that compliments them well. Nice job.
Thank you so much for the feedback! It was my 1st time doing an abstract animation in 2D and it was pretty fun to experiment, glad you liked it :)
The placement of the subtitles makes them a bit distracting imo, but adorable stuff as always! <3
The characters were at the bottom of the screen, so I had to move them. It's a pity... Thanks for the good point!
Super cute; reminded me of the time I spent playing Chicory earlier this year, just filling in the world with my own personal flair. I really like the bits of painterly animation in here too, just a lot of warm, positive vibes throughout.
Aww thank you! I've been meaning to check that game out- I'm glad this gave that vibe ☺️
There's so much charm and nostalgic warmth in these last two little moments you've animated. You do such a nice job at capturing the imaginative wonder of childhood in such a short period of time. Lovely stuff.
It's the purest and most impressive moment, so I like to make it. Thank you for the lovely review.
This is wonderful.
why thank you!
I love this art style so much; it's so warm and cozy, and it's a perfect match for your story. Super cute.
I'm glad you felt the warm atmosphere well. Thank you!
These characters are adorable, and there's a lot of charm to it, but I wish there were a little more to the ending. Poor kid didn't even get to finish their bread. :(
Thank you! Even now I wish that kid was able to finish their bread haha. Bless 'em!
Loved this. Powerful, beautifully rendered storytelling. Tremendous job.
Thank you Bleak-Creep!
Oh my god, this captures it perfectly. My first time was back in 2010 and I still remember it so well. I was a sophomore in college and it was such a huge boost in some much needed confidence at the time. The attention that short got really inspired me to keep going with writing and animating.
Very cute, wonderful job.
Ah nice! Glad to hear how much it motivated you. Gotta check out the short some time

I write sad stories (with hope!) and then animate them in cute pastels to lull you into a false sense of security.
