I've been meaning to make a proper post about this whole thing for a while now, and it's part of one of the big reasons why I haven't been very active here for the last few months, but I'm planning to leave the US here at the end of next week. I'd known it would probably come to this at one point or another, and got a passport last year in anticipation, but I didn't really expect it to come anywhere near this quickly.
It's a terrifying time to live in the US no matter who you might be, but being a trans person myself, and having a good support system and a decent amount of money saved up, I've decided I'm going to try to make The Netherlands my new home. I've been getting in touch with @peti and they've been a big help in just helping me navigate a bit of this stuff, but because the visa I want to get requires me to either work freelance or start my own business, I've decided to put all of my efforts into making School Night Seance a reality.
The thing with taking this route is that I end up burning through my money a bit quicker initially, but the idea is to launch a Kickstarter once we have a playable demo ready, so that we can hopefully fund my stay/afford to finish the game with a few bells and whistles. But this is also where Patreon comes in; I really haven't been very active at all with this yet, but I think it'd be great if I could get a few more members here, just to soften some of the blow of moving/renting.

THAT SAID, please please please, do NOT donate if you're in a similar boat to myself, or you can't afford to do so. I DO have a good year's worth of money, so I'm not just gonna become immediately destitute or anything like that. I will find a way to make things work, this was just one of my ideas.
In any case, that's kind of what's been going on with me. I do really want to get back into the Newgrounds community again and start doing some more underrated artists posts, but a move this big is such a time sink. Once I get settled in over there, I'll probably make another post and hopefully I'll be able to announce a little event I've wanted to host over here at that point too! Only time will tell. I'll be fine though, I promise!

Thank you! It's both scary and exciting, but I think we can manage :)
