Surprised this is the least popular episode of this season, because I think it's easily my favorite one. You've always been great at action scenes and this is probably your finest work in that department.

Bro Thank you so much, and thank you so much for always supporting me dude!
I meant to watch this as soon as it came out, but I got so busy and then I forgot until just now.
While the animation itself is a little sparse at times, you've got some really strong visual storytelling here. That realization of what happened to the grandma hits hard, and I thought it was really clever how you painted the flower to look like a burning flame too; it ties things together well.
I'm so sorry you're going through this right now too...hope you're able to stay safe.
Thank you for your feedback and for your concern :3
Oh wow, this was really, REALLY good. The multimedia visual presentation is stunning and I love the pages of text in the backgrounds that help ground the story with a bit more context.
The looseness of the narrative pairs extremely well with the sparse ambiance of the sound design too. It gives it a really haunting quality; even if all of the imagery itself isn't exactly negative, you really get a sense of the solitude and isolation that these women must have felt as they made the journey out west.
This feels like a huge leap forward for you as an animator and a storyteller. Genuinely powerful stuff.
Thank you Bleak! Honestly this is the kind of stuff I want to aim towards for future animations so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very cute. You really nailed that retro VG cutscene look with this. I wish all the animation looked as polished as the shot where the girl shoves the clovers into her bag, but it's a nice little short all the same. Good work! :)
I see what you mean. I had a personal deadline for the animation so I didn't have as much time to polish it. It was also the first full-length animation I had made in two years, so I was relearning animation fundamentals while making it. I'll be sure to put extra polish in my future animations when I can. Thank you for your feedback!
I love how you can always it's a Goji animation even from the very first frame. Chill and trippy as always!
thank you for your support!!! it really means a ton
I don't fully understand this short, but I definitely think there's some cool things going on conceptually, even if they aren't all that clearly defined, and that lineless version below really is visually striking. It's a neat little piece!
That's completely fair. I feel like it is a bit of mess and functions as a neatish idea but I think I just could have done more in planning or writing to work out the kinks.
It also just feels like old emotions I don't resonate as much with now.
Regardless I think it functions as something to learn from and I really appreciate the kind words and you checking it out Bleak!
Your style on your animations is always such an inspiration. Those moving textures add such a nice visual flair too. Think I'll go ahead and back this thing! :D
Oh my god, Thank you so much. That really means a lot. It's a true honor!
Spotted our girl, Maple, in there! This is just so cool to see!
I definitely to give this game a proper try. I’d only played the little demo from a ways back and it’s clearly come so far since then.
We made her as close as possible to the game. Even has the secret big mode :)
Aw, little pilgrim Sami is so cute! Sweet stuff as always! I love the way you always manage to find a special moment in there no matter how short the cartoon ends up being. :)
For smooth animating, the video is inevitably shortened. But thank you for finding my strengths in that part :) Thank you always! <3
This was lovely. The animation itself could probably use a few more inbetweens, but the art is beautiful, and your story really hits straight to the heart. Very sweet. :)
i agree! wish we had more time to work on it so i could polish the animation, thank you for watching it :) have a nice day

I write sad stories (with hope!) and then animate them in cute pastels to lull you into a false sense of security.
