Will try this after Thanksgiving wraps up, but I’m really happy to see this finally got finished up. Good work on those who picked it back up after the hiatus.

*I think I caught all the fish? I'm not sure how to unlock the final area though! Gimme a hint!

Nice job with this by the way! The artstyle and music compliment the story you're telling really well; the roughed in colors and textures highlight those feelings of "incompleteness" brought on by dysphoria. It's a nice mood piece. :)

I need to finish this later tonight, so far I’ve only had the chance to play the first puzzle, but I love the way you turned this into a Murder By Numbers type setup, and the presentation is really nice.

Wonderful job by all the other artists involved too! Happy Pico Day all!

This is so darn cute. I love all the bride sprites so much; you emulated that Game and Watch style perfectly!

Thanks so much! I studied so much G&W, but it wasn't hard because I love that early 80s Nintendo aesthetic. I also had to make it accurate for MAME!

I love the whole vibe of this game and its characters; the animations and designs are really charming, and I love the way that every single enemy in this place rides around in an identical rusty old pickup truck, haha. (Watching Gooby get progressively more beefy over the course of the game is also a delight)

The only thing that really brings it down for me is that the combat doesn't feel all that fun or engaging. I think if you had more variety on the projectiles or more direct control over them, it'd help a lot.

Cute game for sure though!

Oh nice, this did come out last night after all! I'd seen some little clips a while back kand it looked just as fantastic then as it does now. Really polished aesthetic and some nice NBA Jam vibes with the gameplay too. I'll have to play a bit more of this later, but this is insanely impressive stuff for a Flash game.

I need to play more of this, but based on the first few minutes or so, this does a nice job at giving me a sense of nostalgia for those old Flash dating games, which a bit more polished presentation. The character designs are fun and distinctive, and I like the way the writing doesn't seem to take itself too seriously either.

Definitely gonna have to come back to this once I try out some more Flash Forward entries! :)

OMG, Danny Devito, LOVE

haha first one to notice it ;D

Still gotta get to the boss yet, maybe when I plug in a controller or something, but I really only have two main complaints at the moment.

First is simple enough, the movement speed might be a touch too sensitive for this type of game, and the second is that having obstacles that require you to shoot through when your gun can overheat feels kind of unfair, especially with how long it takes for the gun to cool down. There aren't too many instances of this type of issue, since there's usually multiple routes you can take, but it does happen a couple times per level it seems.

Overall, it's a fun game with solid mechanics though! Looking forward to trying it with a controller sometime! :)

I write sad stories (with hope!) and then animate them in cute pastels to lull you into a false sense of security.
